Recently, however, I went on a ridiculous streak of pwnage with Blitz that has brought me back to .500 and past my former best ELO. Some of it might have been luck, but the more I think about it the more it seems like he really just stomps low ELO players. As a support, he has amazing utility: the pull, knock up, and an aoe silence on a less than 30 second cool down. If you know how to land grabs, you can literally hand feed your AD carry kills. On a combo rotation I can generally get my target to about half health, if not less. The silence at the end of the combo also inhibits any escape mechanisms, and almost guarantees a kill or lane control. I'm not exaggerating when I say that every AD carry I've supported in the last 10 games has gotten pretty fed. It's just inevitable if you land the proper grabs. And the best part is that in team battles you can pretty much assassinate one enemy champion. I was playing against a Galio that dominated mid lane. If he landed his ult on even 3 of us, it was GG. So I pulled him to the team and silenced him so that they could burst him at leisure. Blitzcrank is one of the only supports that can hand feed his carry so easily and make an impact on the game and how it is played. His potential is maximized in low ELO because you're more often to find players out of position, which is what Blitz thrives on. One champ too far out means an easy grab kill for your team, and a significant advantage in the team battle.

TLDR; The noobishness of low ELO players combined with the game changing utility of Blitzcrank makes him an unstoppable force. Basic lore concepts, I’m not a writer and I know it:

  • Forged in one of the ugliest battles during the runeterra wars?
  • Really old? Talking about the good old days? Or perhaps still in his prime, tossed forward in time or unable to age via a freak accident from the unstable magic performed during the rune wars that tore everything up. Take your pick.
  • Sounds like Nigel Thornberry, probably OP but it is a must for the character.

Abilities (a lot of these are inspirational, and are not written in stone, nor do I expect 100% of this to be a finished product):

  • (Passive) Leave none behind: essentially a volibear passive that triggers when a teammate is near (about 200-400 range) is at low. Heal stops if they walk out of range. It has a fairly long cooldown.
  • (Q) Bolt action: next attack becomes ranged (≈500 range) short cooldown, deals % of your AD to target, Slows or applies grievous wounds when fired from the entrenchment. runs on ammo charges like hymen-dinger's turrets.
  • (W) Hold ground/Entrench: a channel spell that upon completion places a trench down on target location, long cool down, and the trench can be out for a very long time, (possible traits Dmg resistance against ranged attacks, minor Slow (barbed wire), Dmg resistance against abilities, does not affect friendly minions, only 1 can be present on the battle field, if a new one is placed down the old one will crumble. Levels like Hiemer's turrets with additional effects being added the higher rank it is.
  • (E) Medpack/Medkit: limited number of medpacks can be out at a time(1, 2, 3), they offer minor vision like teemos mushroom, can be picked up by a teammate but if a enemy finds it they can consume it for a much smaller heal, heal is percent based, rank increases the number of medpacks that can be out at a time, the percent they heal and how long they can be out. [8] they could just use part of the code and models for this for visual design
  • (R) Bastion Breaker/Bayonet charge/ take ground: Movement speed boost for short period (just like shurelya's reverie) During the buff and a little after there is a period where you can cast entrench extra fast to reestablish your new entrenchment.

Design ideas

  • I wanted his kit as a whole to define him, not a specific ability so I went with no ultimate plus nonstandard ability growth has always been an interesting concept to me.
  • His abilities have a clear main purpose and a foggy secondary purpose.
  • I wanted him to be built like a nonstandard support, thus no mana removing the supports preference for fairy charm early game it also matches his character since he is non-magical, he is a hero forged from experience and training, his medpacks can work as pseudo wards and health pots, leaving you more open to actually building your champion rather than investing in consumables, thus he has less of a need to use these GP5/10 items because his abilities supplement what is needed.
  • Since his abilities are mostly percent based with low ratios it leaves him with open ended build potentials.
  • Setting up your own personal little base has a lot of satisfaction to it.
  • Good lane potential due to his abilities reinforcing ground or adding incentive to hold certain ground, he can even assist the jungle by setting up healthpacks along the way.
  • Very little of his abilities affect your partners directly, rather they rely on your ability to respond to challenges via preptime and coordination rather than heal boting or clutch shields, also since your teammate can see where he can get healed and how much he can be healed, there is less room for complaints.
  • Drawbacks include Limited team fight presence if not allowed to setup his entrenchment and medkits, A good kill lane will give him hell since he relies on his pokes to deal dmg and the entrenchment to ward away non committers, as does AOEs since he wants to stick with his teammates and if they wish to exploit the bonuses of his trench they need to group up around it.
  • Strong player to player interaction between teammates via, his passive promoting co-operative play (sticking together) as well as the Short range on his movement speed buff (same as shurelya's reverie), Between the enemy team with medpack cache hunting or pushing lane out to clear out the patches of medpacks, if they put them under the tower then you get a free heal while tower hitting.

personal thoughts on lore:

Really wanted him to be a early Noxian #1 because they don’t have a support and I really want a pure Noxian team to develop so making a Noxian support would be the next step. #2 I never thought of the Noxians as evil I always thought of them as a brutal dog eat dog culture that promotes success and survival, that has strayed far from its roots and let that philosophy run rampant to the point of corruption Riven was a wonderful ode to this and I wanted him to feel like a relic of a past age, a seemingly plain hero who feels out of place among the misfits and golden gods of summoners rift and more at home among the battlefields. His kit just doesn’t feel Noxian as they are currently thus why I felt the past age was more apt for solidifying his character.

Personal notes on balance:

I wanted to leave the specifics and numbers as vague as possible since riot would have the ultimate say so on the direction of the abilities anyways I would rather they just be used as inspirational concepts

And depending on how you did you will be placed in a division that goes with skill level. And you can progress throught the ranks of the division your placed. And once you have achieved enough wins and rose to a high enough rank you can move on to he next division to play better players.

Because like many of you I hate troll players who ruin ranked games. And force your elo to go down. I was close to 1500 elo and then the trolls hit and I lost massive elo. Now im in elo hell and I would like to get back to 1400-1500 where I want to be because I know im good enough to play there.

So implimenting this system will make it so the troll players will be placed in the lower divisions allowing skilled and serious players to play in higher divisions for competition.

This way the trolls really only hurt themselves instead of dragging down skilled players elo's.
