i am a noob.... i love lol tho sooo yea... i really think i want monkey king but i'm really not sure i want to play to get enough ip... or if i want to pay $10 for riot points, monkey king, worth $10???

This. Unless you're good with meele champions or champions with a stealth ability, I wouldn't recommend him.
