morgana's shield immunity

i experienced a strange behavior yesterday about morgana's shield.

playing warwick, i launched his ult on morgana just after she put her shield.
i tried this twice: the first time the shield negated both stun & damage effects, the second time only damage effect was shut down.

what is the expected mechanics ?

Shield goes up. It'll then block all negative effects and magical damage until it reaches it's time limit (4, 5, 6, 7, 8 seconds) or until it reaches it's damage threshold (100, 200, 300, 400, 500). I believe those are still the numbers, but I haven't checked in a while.

Her Black Shield seems a little over the top to me. Complete spell immunity until it absorbs 500 damage + AP on a 1:1 scale is far too strong for a non-ultimate.

Isn't the point of that to let her get in close for her ulti?

Maybe, but for the majority of the match it isn't being used that way. Also most morganas have a fairly beefy tank build that they go so as to be able to ult and withstand it. Last but not least when a morgana ults I would guesstimate 9/10 people run away, thereby halting dps on her until her ult pops. All this together means that if her bubble were nerfed, her ulti being less effective is probably the least likely outcome.

and tonight i still experienced immune to the stun effect... on sivir (no banshee veil)
