Windows Key Bindings Not Working
Hi, I use an application called 'Sharp Keys' that rewrites the Windows Registry to enable key bindings. The app works great, but whenever LoL launches, the game fails to recognize my bindings. I'm running Windows 7 on a Mac via Boot Camp, and swapped the Control and Command keys, but for some reason, LoL detects the Command key as the Windows key instead of what the binding in the Registry is -- the Control key.
Any ideas on what might help? |
I'm having the exact same issue. It looks like the lol client ignores the windows registry settings and accesses the keyboard directly. I tried binding WIN+Q, WIN+W.. etc, but it won't let me make combinations with the windows key. I'm assuming this is because "WIN+[key]" would be too dangerous to allow for a binding since windows has a lot of functions such as WIN+E, which opens My computer. If only the LOL client looked at the mapped keys value that is in the registry, we wouldn't have this problem. =(
