TT Item Suggestions
Twisted Treeline Item Suggestions:
Zaunite Equalizer Device: +100 health, UNIQUE passive: if an enemy is more than 2 levels higher than your champion, you receive 10% more experience gain. Cost: 1750 Reason: To counter the dominance of many hypercarries on Twisted Treeline. Spellchains: 50 ability power, UNIQUE passive: every ability deals 3% of the target's maximum health and 10% of their attack damage in magic damage. Cost: 2500 Reason: To counter the dominance of tanky DPS Spectral Orb: +7 mana regen/5 sec, UNIQUE passive: Every 50 seconds, if you take damage, a spectral clone appears. Spectral clones taunt the enemy, last for 1 second, cannot deal damage and are blue and transparent. Cost: 1000 Reason: Just for fun and to mess with that Tryndamere as he whacks at you, giving you a chance to escape. Hextech Bioboost: UNIQUE passive: while in inventory, gives you +10 ability power and +2 mana regen/5 sec UNIQUE active: (click to consume) instantly heals the target allied champion (cannot be yourself) for 400-700 hp Cost: 600 Reason: To make supports more useful on Twisted Treeline. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- post your own ideas |
I support the first two, the Spectral would have to have a decent cooldown to not be considered OP.
Hextech Sniper Rifle would definitely be OP. Gangplank and Tryn would be unstoppable, and Jax is one of the only people who can 1v1 Tryn face to face. |
ideas like this are more the direction we need to go, but I'd be more careful about their implementation. Honestly there already is a jax counter in mages and SotD, its there, use it.

I think replacing the bloodthirster with the sanguine blade from dominion would be a good idea. I can't remember the last time I saw someone fully stack the bloodthirster on TT.

you know, deathfire is the mages counter to bulky dps...
why does no one ever use it? 30% + 3% per every 100 ap... |

Also, how would Spectral Orb mess with Trynd? He just right clicks once and hacks away. |

Unlike your suggestion it matches with the idea of an AP burst caster doing a lot of damage in a short time, and doesn't make things like cassiopeia and karthus arbitrarily powerful The best counter to trynd would probably be GA, Thornmail, randuins, or mallet. kite, make him kill himself, or come back after he rages and finish him. The only problem you have that isn't solved in items people commonly forget about is the exp gain, which seems like a strategic issue if you're that far behind in levels that you'd pay to catch up. If you want to punish trynd for hitting you, get a wardens mail, into randuins, it slows movement and attackspeed and will let you get away. |
