Single doubt about HUGE story
 

I'm writing a BIG, BIG story about Valoran and all the Champions, similar to The Lord of the Rings. Should I post it in this forum for everyone to see? Or do I run the risk that my story might be copied from other users?

Obviously it's for fun, I do not intend to publish it

I doubt someone would copy it. It doesn't happen as often as most people think. I'd like to see it. :)

I'd enjoy reading something like that. If nothing else save a copy on your computer so if someone does steal your work (doubtful) you'd have something to reference like a creation date.

If they copy it yours would still have the earliest date, so...

They would have to provide another form of proof, and that would have a post date too.

Just post it. But only if it has plenty of me.

Don't worry, the chances of someone trying to copy your work is greatly exaggerated. Even if they do, by law, it still belongs to you. (At least in the USA anyways...) :) Don't sweat it. You have my curiosity piqued.
