More Bans Equals Less Harassment
Long live the Summoner's Code!
Here at Riot, we play League of Legends just like you do (oftentimes even playing it with you) so we understand the frustrations players come across when others do not abide by the Summoner's Code. When you log into PVP.net, we want you to have a great experience filled with positive, competitive play and minimal desire to put your fist through your monitor.
Really, someone should start a 'Save The Monitors' movement. Tell your friends.
In this regard, we've been taking a good look at your harassment reports and taking measures to reduce abusive behavior so your focus stays on the game. Over the past week, we've suspended hundreds of players for their detrimental actions on the Fields of Justice, and we will continue to keep a close eye on the reports that come in to assure that your collaboration with other summoners isn't spoiled by bad behavior.
We investigate our reports thoroughly before any suspensions or warnings occur, and only the most dire of deeds result in permanent account closure. If you feel there was a mistake or oversight, feel free to reply to the notification and we'll do our best to look further into the matter.
Ne'er-Do-Wells, beware! Review the Summoner's Code to improve your behavior before it's too late! For those fine summoners who see lawless individuals in battle, continue to use our player reporting tools! Together, we can make each team complete, cohesive, and lacking any comments about your mother.
