What are wards?
They are items on the shop, under "consumables". They give sight in a range as stated in their description.

What is warding?
Warding is a tactic that allows you to see areas to protect yourself, spy on other players, and other aspects of constant sight over an area.

Wards are cheap, and can really help you win games if you place them properly. They boost confidence and can save lives. Some champs can even interact with them to allow them to completely escape a bad situation.

Quick warding guide:
Blue - Generally good places to put wards for coverage, will rarely get questioned
Yellow - Wards for jungling, counter-jungling, or to protect lanes specifically from junglers
Red - More advanced coverage, usually for mid-late game when mobility gets higher, and plays become crucial. Can be defensive or offensive.
Pink - Counter-warding
Black - Late-end game offensive wards to help keep a win and invade on base for champs with flashes, Blitz, Nidalee, and other long range skill shots.

Anywhere where you have destroyed a turret - placing a ward here may give you an advantage. Especially, if you have 2 or more teleports on a team.

Great man nice layout but in short put them at major gank areas like bot and mid, and use vision when they have teemo.
