IP gains equal for all levels?
 

Hi guys,
I was wondering if you get more IP from games the higher level your summoner level gets. Or is it a flat IP per minute scale for all summoner levels?

Specifically I believe this answers your question, at least for AI games -

Summoner Level Beginner Mode IP/min Intermediate Mode IP/min
1 to 9 No penalty ~2.312 No penalty ~2.312
10 to 19 15% penalty ~1.965 No penalty ~2.312
20 to 29 30% penalty ~1.618 10% penalty ~2.081
30 45% penalty ~1.272 20% penalty ~1.850

Essentially, you get more IP at lower levels, and it gradually scales down at the upper levels.

This is often quoted as a major reason to save your IP for Tier 3 Runes at level 20.

I thought that was just for bot games?

yeah it is. I've always felt like Ive gotten more ip once i reach higher levels. Not sure about your question though :/
