Well Rioters have already stated that they are against removing the score system but it would help if players got something on the tips informing them about the score system being rather flawed but less blunt:

Something like: Remember the score system may be a decent way to measure individual tactics but individual tactics are less likely to win a team game.

what do you think guys?, how could we redact it better?.

No, I think it just needs to be disabled until it is (if ever) fixed.
And I really can't think of a good fix that would cover enough of the edge cases that I wouldn't continue to write the score off as a joke.

I realize that people in Riot don't want to remove it, but seriously, that.... thing is just teaching new Dominion players extremely bad habits.

It should say "I shiny gold number one is nice to look at in your match history, but don't act like an idiot to increase your score because winning is worth more."

It is also why most people don't want to go bot.

As it usually results in a very low score compared to the rest of your team unless your top is losing hard or you are winning hard.

I just chuckle each time the tip tells me Baron Nashor will spawn at 15 minutes ;)

As you can see, the optimal play is clearly to repeatedly die over and over on either your or your opponents capture points.
Accomplishing something useful to your team out of that is entirely optional ^_^

After all, why would the game lie to me?

More like, it's beneficial to start capping a point which three other people are already chanelling.

I understand that we need a number on Dominion that's not your k/d/a and which reflects your contribution to the game... but yes, the current system is awful :(
