Riven Vs. Nocturne
 

Which is a better Solo / Jungle in general? I am interested in these two champions.
What are the Pros and Cons on these champion?

Im sure I will get downvoted because everyone disagree with me on this, but Nocturne is better solotop and jungle IMO. Mainly people disagree with the Solo Top part, but he can really dominate there

I know that Nocturne can jungle really well.

Nocturne's the better jungler, Riven is the better solo top.

Riven better solo top, Noc better jungle.
They don't really play the same so pick who you find more fun.

Nocturne's abilities in top-lane are counterproductive because of Umbra Blades. Due to how it works, he will always be forcibly pushing, even if he just tries to last-hit. That means you'll be vulnerable to ganks. That, and Nocturne's sustain relies on him hitting multiple targets, so if you get harassed, you need to hit a lot of minions to heal yourself, meaning more pushing.

Additionally, Nocturne is limited by low mana when it comes to fighting his lane opponent. Riven is not limited by any resource, making her able to last much longer.

Lastly, if you're not jungling as Nocturne, you're kinda wasting his talents.

Which one do you prefer?

You shouldn't top lane Noc, it's asking for trouble. In the jungle he's pretty good, but the fact that his ult has such a long cooldown really gimps him. He also has no immediate CC, something that Riven has access to.
