[Champion Concept] Raijin: The Lightning's Fury
This is a repost of my second champion concept. This one is unique because his skills evolve throughout the match making him exceptionally deadlier than at first look.
role: ranged AD carry resource: mana Health: 477 (+74 per level 1735 at lvl 18) Mana 285 (+45 per level 1050 at lvl 18) Attack Damage: 56 (+3 per level 107 at lvl 18) Attack Speed: .666 (1 at level 18) Movement Speed: 315 Armor: 21 (+1.7 per level 50 at level 18) Magic Resist: 17 (+2 per level 51 at evel 18) Abilities: Passive Lightning's Fury: after using four skills Raijin fires a lighting arrow that slows his target by35% for 1.5 seconds Q- Thunder Volley Raijin releases a volley of lightning arrows upon a target location reducing the armor of any enemy caught in it. At rank 1-2 Damage: 10 physical damage per second (+.1 of his AD) AoE diameter: 150 Armor debuff: 5 Debuff duration: 1.5 seconds Mana cost: 60 Cooldown: 10 seconds AoE duration: 3 seconds At rank 3-4 Damage: 20 physical damage per second (+.1 of his AD) AoE diameter: 300 Armor debuff: 8 Debuff duration: 1.5 seconds Mana cost: 90 Cooldown: 8 seconds AoE duration: 3 seconds At rank 5 Damage: 30 physical damage per secon (+.1 of his AD) enemies located in the center take triple damage. AoE diameter: three interlocked 300 unit areas (think of a venn diagram with the three circles having 300 diameter each) Armor debuff; 11 Debuff duration: 1.5 seconds Mana cost: 120 Cooldown: 6 seconds AoE duration: 3 seconds W- Raikouhou Raijin fires a bolt of lightning that richochets off terrain. At higher levels Raijin can fire consecutive arrows for less mana but also less damage. At rank 1-2 Damage: 130 (+.3 of his AD) Firing range: 450 (if there is terrain in the path of the arrow it will richchet and travel another 450 units) Richochets: 1 per shot Mana cost: 70 Cooldown: 5 seconds At rank 3-4 Damage: 230 (+.3 of his AD) Firing range:450 ( if there is terrain in the path of the arrow it will richochet and tavel anoher 550 units) Richochets: 2 per shot Mana cost: 90 Cooldown: 5 seconds after the final arrow has been fired Special: after the first arrow has been fired a second one can be fired after a .5 second delay for 10% less mana and deal 15% less damage. At rank 5 Damage: 330 (+.3 of his AD) Firing range: (if there is terrain in the path of the arrow then it will richochet and travel another 650 units) Richochets: 3 per shot Mana cost: 110 Cooldown: 5 seconds after the fianl arrow has been fired Special: after the first arrow has been fired two more arrows can be fired after a .5 second delay each for 15% less mana and deal 20% less damage. E- Close Quarters Combat Raijin engages his enemy in close combat knocking them back a short distance At rank 1-2 Damage: 10 Knockback distance: 100 units Mana cost: 60 Cooldown: 10 seconds At rank 3-4 Damage: 50 Knockback distance: 150 units Mana cost 80 Cooldown: 10 seconds Special: any enemy caught in the path of the knockback will take a small amount of damage At rank 5 Damage: 100 Knockback distance: 150 Mana cost: 100 Cooldown: 10 seconds Special: Raijin performs a 360 degree low sweeping kick and any enemy caught in the path of the knockback will be damaged for the same amount R- Flying Thunder God After a 1 second channel Raijin releases a lightning fast arrow that pierces through all enemies caught in its path At rank 1 Damage: 150 (+1 for each point of bonus AD) Range: global skill shot Mana cost: 100 Cooldown: 75 seconds At rank 2 Damage: 350 (+1 for easch point of bonus AD) Range: global skill shot Mana cost: 150 Cooldown: 75 seconds Special: after a 1 second delay lightning bolts will branch out from the path of the arrow and strike up to two nearby enemy champions dealing an extra 10% damage times the number of champons hit by the arrow. Side note: enemies hit by the arrow will not be affected by the lightning bolt branches At rank 3 Damage : 450 (+1 for each point of bonus AD) Range global skill shot Mana cost: 200 Cooldown: 75 seconds Special: after a .5 second delay lightning bolts will branch out from the path of the arrow and strike all nearby champions dealing an extra 10% damage times the number of champions hit by the arrow. Side note: enemies hit by the arrow will not be affected by the lightning bolt branches |

This one's cool as well, kinda like an adc version of Kha, but mixed with syndra too. Good ideas, keep 'em coming :D

At first glance, the champion seems pretty cool. But do you think that maybe you can simplify the extra skills a bit? It seems to be kinda confusing right now. The ultimate seems a lot like varus' piercing arrow, and the passive feels a little underwhelming. Maybe the arrow should deal some extra damage as well as slow? Just some ideas.
edit: after some more thought maybe another ultimate might worknbetter how about this Megawatt chains: Raijin throws a chain of electricity in a line forward, ensnaring and damaging the targeted enemy champion. After hitting an enemy, Raijin pulls the chain back dealing more damage and dragging the champion back a set distance, also damaging any enemies the champion hits as well as slowing them. |
