Kayles "Instant" attack, blessing or a curse?
When I first saw kayles unique "instant" projectile attack, I thought it would be a pretty amazing mechanic.
But the more I examine it, the more I realize that this is probably actually hurting kayles ability to get kills. This is because of how ranged attacks with projectiles "Chase" people when they're technically out of range of the attack. Generally players will run away based on an HP cue. If a projectile is still in the air when they run away, then its much more likely that a kill will be scored. With kayle, because none of her projectiles are ever "in the air" state, I find that enemies tend to get away much more often with flash/blinks etc. TLDR: Would kayle benefit from having an actual projectile with travel time over her current "instant" splash ability? |
play the same way. Hit and micro to keep running towards them between hits.
???????? Profit |
her Q chases
|
instant splash is good, because it allows less chance for the enemy to counterattack.
I would rather them run than kill me |
For kills, harassment and hitting ppl under their turret, yes.
For last hitting, no. |
You mean her E?
Kayle is one of the strongest AD semi Hybrid champs right now. Her is E is fine. Using her Q then E for killing people is how it's done. They run faster? Press alt+W bam insta speed. Q should be back up by then. |
It's both good and bad.
|
The real question is, while you were chasing why didn't you Q them? or use your W to boost yourself?
|
She is already very powerful and has little counters, so I think a buff, even as seemingly minor as that, would be unwise.
|
If an autoattack of Kayle's Righteous Fury fails to kill a target, it wouldn't kill the target if the projectile was slower either...
