Since the community bans emote spammers, should emotes be removed? (Poll)

Player was banned because he spammed taunt emotes with several characters.

So because in game taunts is something offensive to quite a few players I am curious on the majority of players.

Is it worth removing the taunt functionality in order to create a better environment for these players? Should players that excessively spam taunts be banned? Or is it a legitimate gameplay tactic/fun thing to do?

I love the emotes in this game. I'd be rather bummed if Riot chooses to remove them. I also think the player shouldn't have been banned. Especially if they were spamming Blitz's laugh. That's the only real way to play him.

ya know, in Street Fighter, if someone taunts you, it's ON. Because they took time out of their maneuvering and tactics to sit there and taunt you. On league, I find it silly because they can taunt while moving and it doesn't freeze you in place.

I think it's a fun little thing and doesn't bother me, imo.

Why would you ban emote spammers. I'm getting banned forever then.

i think there should be an option in sound to turn them off so people can still use em but cant get banned for it

Remember community consensus. If you don't like this then you need to get on Tribunal and start pardoning players yourself.

Right now the standards to be punished are too low. The bar has been lowered to the point where anything qualifies as a ban worthy offense.
