Although elo hell does not exist
You can't stop people from throwing the game. The reason why people believe they are in elo hell is most likely because games get thrown more frequently. It is not uncommon for less experienced people to throw games.
What do you do? Nothing really. You can try to get them to listen to you and make them trust you and reduce the chances of throws. There is nothing that you can really do to prevent someone else from throwing the game if they don't want to listen to you. What you can do is play well consistently and try to carry each game you get. If you manage to do that, you will see your elo rise. TL;DR: Elo hell isn't real. People throw; you need to carry. |

Prove it doesn't using the mathematical formula of ELO, in addition to accurately accounting for the human factor. You get less than 2% as your window for error, go.
