Pick Lanes
 

Riot really needs to develop a system to select lanes BEFORE entering queue. I've literally sat here for an hour trying to play and stupid kids are stealing and autolocking lanes after they have been called.

I've thought of this before and how much easier it would make champion select, if everyone had their lane picked ahead of time. The problem with this option is that the "lane roles" as we know them only exist because of the current meta. If you made a system to pick your lane as it fits into the current meta, then this meta can never change. Or it's much harder to do so, and it will always be around in some fashion.

Basically, this puts a huge restriction on the game. Maybe with the HUGE season 3 changes incoming the meta may change. Then this idea would make no sense at all if there's 2 mid instead of 2 bot, or even 2 jungle instead. So we just have to deal with autolocks and raging idiots in champ select sometimes.
