Dominion and Honor.
 

So i have 200+ honor i got from playing legit games in dominion yet i don't have a single ribbon to show. I think riot has gone and derped themselves by being idiots and not realizing the size of the dominion playerbase at high elos. Its common to play with the same people over and over again. While this would probably never happen in SR, it's common in Dom.

Do you have a history in the Tribunal? That'll get rid of pretty much any chances of a ribbon.

1. SR has high Elo too, you know.
2. Plenty of high Elo players on euw have ribbons. Plenty.

I've had a history in the Tribunal (granted it's been like 6 months to a year since my last ban) and I have my honorable opponent Ribbon.

As for the OP, no idea why you don't have any Ribbons. I know Honorable Opponent is one of the easier ones to get (only need like 25-35 or something) where as the other ones need considerably more. Riot is also pretty vague about numbers/percentages required for a ribbon (they did this on purpose to avoid people begging for honor).

I think the "ribbon" system is total BS.
How many times have I played with someone with those red little "badges" that talk sh*t the whole game? Way too many.
It's a broken system in terms of accuracy.

Other things to consider:

-You 'honor votes' received count for 'less' if you're friends with the person giving it to you and/or the same person has honored you multiple times within a time period.

-Dominion 'honor votes' count for 'less' because we get more games in the same time span as SR; despite Dom player not honoring nearly as often (I get honored more regularly in Bot games than I do in Dom; figure that out. XP )

Basically if you want Honor Ribbons of any kind your best bet is to go play SR; Riot's PB&J team gave the middle finger to any Dom-exclusive players who don't play at both high enough ELO to have a close knit community and/or have hours a day to play at 'prime honor times' (hours where those community members are online to game with and gain that honor) to get those ratios needed for the ribbons at the reduced Dom & Friend/Repetition value rate.

This is false. What honour looks at is not the number of honour votes you get, but who you got them from, and more importantly - ratio. 30 honour in 20 games is not the same as 30 honour in 300 games.

Nope; that's true. A Red said that ages ago back when Honor first came out and I haven't seen any Red posts to the contrary yet; so if that changed it hasn't been mentioned in forum.
