Hurricane and Hydra are good items.

Hydra is great when you have lifesteal champs.

I don't think anyone's complaining about Hydra o.O It's a great item.

Hurricane, though. Idk if this happens a lot in ranked, since I only play normals, but nearly every ADC I see is rushing Hurricane as a first item without building any sort of damage outside of a Doran's blade or two.

i like hurricane on caitlyn, lets the passive build so much faster.

I love hurricane.

But rushing is stupid. Oh boy. 70% attack speed and two 40 damage side bolts. Hurr durr. Hurr durr durr.

I like Hurricane -- it's got a niche spot that it fills very, very nicely.

Hydra, on the other hand, I find difficult to really match up with any particular champion.
I just can't think of a champion that would prefer Hydra over something else.

I'd at least rush BotRK to get that 4% health as damage, or get BT and Black Cleaver. Yes, this works for hurricane AND hydra.

Yeah, Hurricane is a good niche item (even when it fills that niche for only some ranged ADC).

Hydra is decent. The costs are very high. The AD is normal. The HP reg is not needed later in the game, but ok.
The AOE dmg is nice, but the life steal is not really great without 4-5 targets around you.
The active is the real problem. Castin it while moving would be OP, but the delay is very huge. It is a high risk to use it cause the enemy may avoid it and escape cause of that.

That doesn't sound like a bad idea on Kog (similar to rushing PD on him, which many pros do), Varus, and maybe Ashe, but it definitely would be a more utility thing on Ashe for her slows. Anyone else, I don't think that's a good idea.
