Phantom Dancer passive misplaced?
does anyone else think the phantom dancers passive (ignore unit collision) should be a boot enchantment as opposed to on the Phantom dancer.
in my opinion if you have a phantom dancer you would just attack threw a minion wave, where as someone based on running, like singed, has no use for most of the other stats offered by the phantom dancer. TLDR: put the phantom dancer passive as a boot enchantment |
having it as a boot enchant opens it up to any one. Rammus, Voli, Singed. Maby those heros aren't balanced by having ignore unit collision.

As for Phantom Dancers, well now they seem to have fit the "Phantom" part, now we need a new passive on them to fit the dancer. |
i mentioned that to ezreal a long way back about making speed 3 viable. and he said having it on boots would make it were anybody (specially assassins/bruisers) can just walk through tanks at that point and just destroy the adc.

I have to disagree with the OP. I get why they put it on PhD (to help out the few remaining melee carries), and moving that to boots means that a madc can't get something else like Distortion or Alacrity or Furor.

To be honest, I do feel it's a bit misplaced; for "melee carries," (a class I honestly doesn't feel properly exist; they're just a more fragile version of a bruiser) giving them the ability to ignore unit collision WITHOUT taking Ghost is both going to perhaps overpower them, WHILE making Ghost less attractive a spell. (and in all honesty, I'd like for there to be more attractive options for my offensive champs than Flash+Ignite)
But yeah, for actual AD Carries, PD took a hard, HARD nerf; the collision aspect is essentially irrelevant, since they're not supposed to touch minions anyway; in exchange for this "boost" they lose 5% AS and 7% MS. |
