Viktor - Power Transfer - Replace Shield with Spell Vamp
 

Here's the ability:

Viktor sends a device at an enemy unit to blast them for magic damage, which then returns to him granting a shield for up to 3 seconds with an amount equal to 40% of the damage dealt before reduction.

Here's the change:

Viktor sends a device at an enemy unit to blast them for magic damage. This spell has 32/34/36/38/40% bonus spell vamp.

The spell vamp coefficient can be reworked for balancing.

Well, to be fair, that would be appropriate since it costs mana.

More like a simple Spell Vamp effect applied to one of Viktor's four abilities (not unlike that of Ahri or Morgana's passives).

Vlad can heal with his Q without Spell Vamp, anyway.

In the end, this tradeoff is exchanging a weak and temporary shield for something that will actually last and help to sustain his lane. It also costs mana to use, which limits Viktor in that he has incredibly low mana regeneration anyway.

Even to your utmost effort, you cannot deny the fact.
Yes the only difference is that it cost mana but I think it won't fit well with Viktor's kit, especially since he's not some sadistic vampire who drains hp, but a mechanized outcast. A shield would suit more than a heal imo. Just increase the projectile speed or increase the shield scaling in lategame, and he'd be fine.

They're not really updates since the rework is still in alpha stages and Riot has only posted an extreme blueprint of what they have planned for him.

Why would they change Vik? He's such a sleeper OP it's great. He can rip apart more teams if you know what you are doing.
