Registration Open for the CnD Open Series #1
 

Hello Everyone,

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Ânders and I’m the founder, and sole-owner, of Cloak n Dagger Gaming, and CnDgaming.com; a 3v3-only News and Theory website focused on providing the Twisted Treeline community with the resources they need to grow towards fostering a competitive eSports environment.

The reason for my post today is to raise the awareness of, and advertise for, an upcoming tournament hosted by CnD. The CnD Open Series Tournament #1 is an open registration 16-team tournament formatted in a double elimination bracket [loser bracket style]. It is currently non-monetarily prized but is instead prized with Ladder-points, which will then be used to determine invited-teams for a Championship Tournament with extensive prizes after the series has gleaned sufficient attention to produce a competitive field worthy of that caliber of tourney [likely April 2013]. All matches are played in a standard 6-ban tournament draft match under normal win-conditions.

Official registration opens for the tournament today January 19th, and will continue through until Feb 1st. You can register here;

The Tournament will take place on Saturday Feb 2nd; from 4pm EST until completion [extenuating circumstance may lead to rescheduling of higher tier matches if so they would take place Sunday Feb 3rd; from 4pm EST to completion]

No, I'll be hosting the championship funded with revenue from the website at some point no matter what.

This tourney might even end up with prizes at the last minute; in touch with Riot.


(what I meant in the post is that it would be nice to at least have 8-10 well-established teams)

Sounds interesting ! Pretty sure my team would like to play.

I think it will be a challenge to have 16 teams though.
