[Feedback] Seeker's Arm Guard and Zhonya's

It feels pretty bad that the Arm Guard passive isn't kept in Zhonya's and it feels like a waste of gold to some degree. If the passive is fully stacked, you end up paying more gold to get the same amount of stats. Purchasing a Zhonya's after stacking Arm Guard, you get 5 armor and the active for 650. Without the passive, you get 20 armor and 15 AP for the same price. It just seems weird that stacking the item makes it less cost effective for you to purchase the next tier of the item.

Zhonya's really needs to be updated alongside Arm Guard so the purchase doesn't feel as bad to make as it does.

You are supposed to get the Armguard earlier when fighting AD Mid. Eitherway farming it up still gives less than Zhonyas so the Armgaurd is meant for building early so you can still build your Reg AP items without rushing Zhonyas.

You get what I'm sayin?

It really won't change Zhonya's if they do incorperate it. They'll just make it cap out at 50 armor in total for Zhonya's anyway. Though it would make more sense if it worked that way. Either that or seekers needs an upgrade to it that actually does incorporate it's passive.

Exactly this.
Seeker's maxes out at 40 AP and 45 Armor. Upgrading it to Zhonya's exceeds that by at least 5 Armor and 80 AP. Its as if the act of upgrading it maxes out its stacks.

I agree!

The issue is that if you max the stacks before upgrading it, you are paying the same amount of gold for Zhonya's to get less stats because it's already maxed.

The "paying to max out the stacks" reasoning only works if the price of Zhonya's decreases for each stack you gain. Currently, each stack of Arm Guard makes you pay more money for less return when you get Zhonya's.

I think the problem is how people "feel" about losing the armguard's passive then?

The alternative to this would be to incorporate the armguard passive into Zhonyas but then lower the base armor Zhonyas gives so it still caps at the same armor level.

Perhaps that would fix this "feel" problem?

I think it is good the way it is. it means if needed you can rush arm guard first and build into zhonyas later without making champs that want zhonyas later rush it early. Very smart on riots part.

I also see little problems with it, the extra 20 ap on the final build adds to slot efficiency.
