Not a big fan of percentages myself. Ideally, if the ELO system works properly, you should be facing people who have a roughly equal chance at winning as you do. You might win more than you lose. If its by a significant amount, then the ELO system is failing. So, you win 55% or 54%? Whats it matter? I know sometimes its just "interesting to see." It might be meaingless, but I am sure some people would seize on it as some sort of "measure of skill." No need to promote ****-sure elitism ;). If its out of sight, it probably will be out of mind.
