Take away surrender time
 

When your team does nothing but dive, feed 30 kills in 5 minutes, I would rather just immediately surrender than waste my time with people that act like they never have touched the game before. Let me surrender so I'm not tempted to leave unwinnable games. Thanks.

The problem with that is that there would be troll teams that surrender instantly at the start of the match.

How is that worse than a team trolling for 7 minutes? (If 3 players aren't trying, Dominion shouldn't be any longer than 7 minutes.)

surrender time should be 15 minutes IMO

They played an underrated team (except Shaco and maybe Vayne), and picked every teamfight and skirmish. We never managed to get our junk together, and kept getting jumped in the jungle.

We got outplayed and that's it. It was a gg. We wouldn't have surrendered anyway.

I agree. With the 15 minute surrender time, usually games are over at that point or very close to so, sometimes it isn't worth wasting that 10 minutes of time to play a game that you know you are going to lose.

I think the limit needs to be lowered to 10 minutes. Don't remove it though, for reasons already mentioned. From there, we can tweak it as needed.

If surrender had a shorter timer there would be a LOT of games thrown away. Late game heavy teams can always turn it around and have at least 10 minutes to do so even if they're losing badly. If the game ends before then, that's your surrender.

No, just no. People afking when they think its over are annoying enough, no need to validate them.
"surrender or feed/afk/etc", leave that in SR where it belongs.

Its not fun for the people playing to win or for the other team either.
