Who the **** thought this was a good idea~?

The SOPA was recently brought into New Zealand, our country often being the trial place of new ideas since it has good economic standing but a population that is easily observed. Although our legislation only covers the downloading of pirated material I believe, nothing like what the US has proposed.

Truth be told no 'kiwis' were worried about this legislation as under our laws, the ISP must provide the information to the content provider if the provider wishes, but what large company i.e. Disney are going to worry about a few people on the other side of the world downloading their films? Also our legal system differs greatly from the US system. Where you have many personal legal battles suing for a sum of money, we don't allow personal battles like that (unless they are serious of course).

So basically the earlier the US gets the SOPA the more likely NZ will be a target under this legislation, and soon most likely the rest of the world.

Umm.. yes, you are. Obviously, the right way to live is if someone is gay and their life partner dies, they are evicted from the home they helped pay for? Or they're not allowed to see their partner on their death bed if the hospital restricts it to family only?

By being a part of the homophobic minority (look up some sweet statz) that still supports the oppression of the gay, you complicity agree with these horrible ways that they are treated.
