the bigger problem
sadly the issues addressed here don't even come close to the real threat we face, these acts will basically give the government the ability to censor anything they please. If sopa goes through, right off the bat there will be thousands of websites taken off the internet, and i guarantee some of these websites will not have broken any of the rules laid out by sopa.
in other words they will be able to destroy random websites at whim, if anyone pipes up and says something about it, they can claim that they violated copyright terms in some way or form.
now i go onto another point, some people might say "oh, well china has internet censorship and you never hear them complaining so whats the big deal?" uhhhhh they don't complain because there voice to complain has been taken away.
STOP SOPA
the internet is one of the last truly free places, let's keep it that way shall we?
please thumbs this up so that i can get more people to realize the horrible problem we face with sopa
