Level 20 runes?
Hey guys, I'm level 20. I have 10k IP saved for runes and was wondering which ones I should get. I mainly play AD carries bottom, but like to play AD champs in the jungle and top. I do play AP champs at times. What runes should I get where I can have an advantage at all roles that I like to play?

I am a level 30 with about 400 wins under my belt.
I usually play solo top but play all roles. I have rune pages for each one as well. Here are some suggestions. AD Carry Rune Page: Attack Damage Marks, Armor Seals, Magic Resist Glyphs, and Aattack Damage Quints or Armor Penetration Quints. I have to go for now but I will add some other Rune builds. for ad bot and bruisers top I run
flat ad marks and quints, armor seals, mr/lvl glyphs this also works on some junglers for jungling I either run 6 arp marks, then it's the same as my ad page OR I run attack speed marks and movespeed quints for tankier junglers APs have a lot of variation but depending on rune pages available I would run is mpen marks, flat ap seals, 2 mpen glyphs, 7 flat mr glyphs, flat ap quints |
Work on 2 general rune pages. Both will use flat armor seals and flat magic resist glyphs.
Your AD page will use armor penetration marks and flat attack damage quintessences, your AP page will use magic penetration marks and flat AP quintessences. Neither page is perfectly optimised for most champions, but neither page is bad for any champion either (except for those that require specialised rune pages like Akali, obviously). You'll end up with a decent balance between offence and defence out the gate. Of course, you'll want to end up developing rune pages that match your playstyle, so you may just want to do that instead. |

I find that I can run this setup on basically anyone I play; however, I almost always play either Shen in the jungle/top lane, Ryze middle, and Janna as support.
Marks: Magic penetration Seals: Flat Armor Glyphs: Flat AP or Magic Resist per Level Quints: Movement Speed Movespeed Quints are honestly the greatest things ever, even if you're an AD carry (especially for Ashe). They help you kite as a carry, they help you ward faster as a support, they help you clear the jungle faster and gank very more effectively as a jungler(Shen taunt + 394 movespeed level 1 = free kill, or at least burned flash), and dodge skillshots and escape as anyone. They are very under-rated. |
