Why is Teemo bad? (Can I see theorycrafts and not anecdotes?)
 

I have heard a lot that Teemo is horrible. Personally, I can't quite figure out why. Would anyone like to theorycraft a comparison of ideal situation damage for him against some other ranged DPS champs for me?

Do it yourself, don't be lazy.

IT's pretty basic math, and a bit of looking at the learning Center. Use the calculator application if you need to.

Although i doubt he's considered horrible because of his flat out damage. More so his innability to change the game without time to set-up first.

Teemo can't change the course of a teamfight very easily on his own. Therefore he's considered bad compared to other champions who can.

single target DPS, his ult is only useful against clueless players and at early-mid game, late game it's just a ward, brings nothing at all to team fights, waste to give the middle lane to a champ that doesnt get any good late game.

Oh really? Teemo is useless?

It's not me being lazy. I tried doing the math, and his dmg should not be any lower than any other champs of equal gear. It's me thinking that most people actually have no clue why he's bad other than the fact that the forums said so.

So which ranged champs are considered good right now? Off the top of my head, there's Ez and Kog (mainly because they have lots of AoE).
As far as utility goes, Ez has AS boost (I have yet to see anyone use that for the buff), and that's about it.
Kog has slow..and that's it.
I have always thought that CCs and such factors a lot into higher level play. Apparently the case is that AoE dmg is the only thing that anyone should care about.
I think this is going to change how I play a lot. I'm gonna have to try out some AoE champs.

i just played a hour half long game 5v5

and i was shaco and i was versing a full build temo (i was full build as well)

he died.... quickly

I say Eve is superior in that elo.

Not sure, to be honest.

Teemo just roflstomped the hell out of the enemy team (Fiddle, Garen, Ezreal, some other guys who died shortly before I did) in my last game. Not sure how it happened, but holy ****.

my 14 year old brother can hit q near a champions death to get some last hits
