Soraka gets pretty next patch, does she have a place in Dominion?
 

Besides as a bottom lane counter- pick, which is the only place I've seen her in a long while.

I mean, she's still that dumb chick who crippled herself to hulk Warwick out, but now she's a dumb, *pretty* chick. So, I kinda want to play her a bit.

Does she still have a place as a support or AP carry?

You can take her top, but until rylai's she isn't going to be kiting anyone anytime soon. Also feel like she's vulnerable to focus and she takes too long for effective damage return on Q in a 4v4 situation.

They updated her (and Warwick's) lore too, so she's not so dumb anymore.

And yeah, her damage feels like it's more sustained than anything particularly useful in a teamfight situation.

I feel that if you couple her with Leona or Amumu she can go places. But everyone expects me to go bot when i pick her :/. "Oh hey Nyx, you going bot?" "Siiiiiiiiigh.......i guess i'll sit there for 20mins with no ganks...." :p

I used to play her as a terr0r AP bot, but her ability to solo lane has been nerfed a bit too much for me... ie she isn't my "go to" bot laner anymore. Definitely still can lane, definitely still can beat a lot of champions, but I wouldn't consider her a top tier choice unless you get an easy bot lane and can just spam your ult to win fights top.

Soraka is basically auto-win in level 3/4 fights so she can be good at top. Her usefulness fades quickly though, as she has a general lack of utility and is very reliant on teammates to keep her alive.

I feel like she's a bit too vulnerable to ganks at bot, but otherwise is a damn good bot. I'm not sure there's any other champ that can clear minion waves like her.

Heimer? but that's pretty much everything that Heimer ca n do, i'm actually waiting for the remake so that we cn see if his remake gives him a place on Dominion again.
