How famous is the poster above you within the Dom community?
 

Since there is no post above mine I will simply start by naming a few to give example

fDru: He was the first Nununite. He is the world's biggest grump. He knows what he is talking about even if on the surface it looks a little ham-fisted. He has a niche role as the Dominion Community equivalent to Oscar the Grouch.

Sauron: The Crystal Scar is his one ring to rule them all. It's like the devs knew to make it circular just because Sauron was going to play. Has that tier list that coined cheesecake tier. Science!

YouSillyFurry: His name is silly. His fizz is scary. He is a sexually deviant mastermind of the hop-and-flop bop you on the top of your mop and he just can't stop.

LegendaryEnemy: probably the best Trundle player I've ever seen. Is known to play Leona on occasion.
Took a long-ass break from LoL and is now a little rusty.

MyDeadGrandma: I.... don't think I've heard of you before, although a quick lolmatches check reveals you are a pretty good Dom player.

seen him on the forums, but don't remember ever seeing him in game.

This is important to remember, "the community" also includes the forum and the chat-room. In fact, the chat and forum communities can be quite distinct from the "in-game crowd".

On euw, the chat has about 30-40 regulars, I'd guess, and most of us also run across each other and ~50--100 other people consistently in games, as well as what we call "endearingly" - "The randoms", until we meet them like 20-30 times collectively.

Someone can be known by being part of the chat without you ever meeting them in game, and vice versa.

Which are you talking about, either, both, just one?
