If Darius is balanced
 

Then Garen needs a buff. There, I said something everyone knows.
No one played Garen for months, Riot reworked him and... still no one plays him. Maybe the rework was good, but Riot also released Garen's better version in the meantime.

Theoretically, you should pick Garen when your team needs bruiser with nice AoE dmg, a bit of CC and strong single target execution move. But hey, Darius does all those things, but better.

I play Garen alot, and recently acquired Darius.
I think Garen is fine, Darius too.

I will add tho, Garen slows down way too hard mid to late game. After 11 or so he just becomes a tank pretty much.
Also, Garen/Darius duo will dominate any lane.

Darius is much more kitable.

Lol, I pick Garen vs an Enemy Darius.

Garen is meant to take more damage than darius, and plus they both are on opposite team

ppl are just sheeps
if tomorrow dyrus plays garen top and have success he'll be a instaban.

Or you could pick teemo, kayle, nidalee or elise.
Garen cannot damage any of those 4 champions, let alone kill them.

Funny that Garen pretty much hardcounters Darius if you are any smart.

Garen is for defense orientated and darius is more offense orientated. dar also sucks if you have high armour because he needs his ult to last hit to hit with it again. you do have to play smart versus dar early on tho because hes is one hell of a snowballer.

im sorry but you are mistaken because he can defeat any of them unless theya re fed because he has very high defense and fairly good offense as well as a great finisher. garen is one of the best champs and nidalee as well as elise are definitely not for 1v1 fights at close range. they harass then close in and finish in a few attacks when enemy has low hp
