Summoners,

To improve performance, there will be scheduled platform maintenance this Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 1:30 AM - 5:30 AM PST. During this time, the servers will be offline. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience!

Note: Soft Shutdown begins at 12:00 AM. Players already in game will be able to finish but no new players will be able to launch PvP.net.

Why do you call something that you give us 3 hours notice for 'scheduled'? If it was 'scheduled', why the hell didn't you tell us about is a day ago? Or 2 days? Or a week?

Please call unexpected downtime what it is... UNEXPECTED.

If its unexpected then they wouldn't announce it at all and it would be called a crash...

This is clearly expected, as they are taking the servers down, not the servers crashing.

Also they have been doing maintenance about once a week for the past few weeks, so its not exactly out of the blue anyways.
