A bug I've encountered a number of times but only just now figured out when it actually happens. Basically if i alt-tab in game and then try to alt-tab back some times the game crashes and gives me an error. The error says that my graphic card is out of date and then redirects me to a league page containing links to update them. I've updated the drivers several times and i am still getting the error fairly frequently.

I am running an Nvidia Geforce GT 540m on windows 7 home premium fully updated. If you need any more information ill try and supply it.

Plz fix riot i just had it happen again.

Bump, it almost cost us a game. Has cost us several others.

We have a few upcoming plans to attack this bug. Unfortunately, fixing the bug is very difficult and will take us a lot longer. But to alleviate some pain, we have two more things:

- 1) We want to make sure that the messaging is better. We usually send that message as a blanket "your graphics driver couldn't handle this" (and quite often, it is the drivers). In the case of alt-tabbing, it's probably that your graphics card ran out of memory, and that could be solved by decreasing texture resolution and graphics settings.

- 2) We're implementing an in-game option for borderless windowed mode, which should alleviate the alt-tab time significantly. There's already a way to do this by editting the config file, but an in-game method might alleviate some of the pain.

Thanks good to know riot is fixing. Any estimate on the eta of the fix?

As a temporary fix, you can downgrade to version 169 drivers instead of 17X.
