I'm curious why Morgana is often ranked Tier 3 and below (except Locust who put her into Tier 2). I understand that Mercury Treads hampers her damage, but with the cooldown reduction on Dark Binding and factoring in Soul Shackle, she still offers a fair amount of rapid fire control (assuming the user has good aim).

Plus, if the opposing team buys into Banshee's Veil to counter Morgana as initiator, doesn't that drain a fair amount of resources? It's not like her Dark Binding becomes useless, she simply can't initiate as well unless one of her teammates takes the buff off. Also factoring in that many of the T1/T2 champions are casters, you'd think the synergy of her MR debuff would have greater value.

There are many, many tournaments that are not exactly official or sponsored by big gaming companies. It still affects the metagame.

Veigar is not tier one.. Not even close.. He's terrible ;S

I agree with alot of that list, though I would put soraka as tier 2 and veigar as tier 4 just out of respect that soraka can be countered so It wouldnt be smart, in my opinion to pick her as your #1. Though I can see her getting banned often, I cant say I can see her getting picked #1. Veigar is a counter to casters. If theres alot of casters he will be stronger, more ap during fights, more dmg. And if your team already has a strong 4, I can see him as a useful adition. Not your main mage, but against the right teams his nukes will probably be stronger than ryze's and have more CC than ryze.

- Yi added to tier 3. I've played 7 games with him and I won every single game. He can solo mid quite well vs caster champs and ranged physical dps but has a hard time vs champions like Panth, Nida, etc.. Who have more staying power then he does. Overall his ability to BD towers, gank, jungle, and ability to team fight is quite good now. He is a viable pick now.

- Added Akali to tier 4. So far I find if she has a bad early game she is absolutelty useless the rest of the game. Although on the other hand if she has a good early game she can snowball fairly well and be a devisating force to squishies on the other team. She's great for taking out casters and champions like Ashe who don't focus on getting too much defensive items. She can actually jungle quite well with a fort pot and 5x potions able to kill lizard or golem at level 1 with smite. Overall viable but hard to say if she will rise up a tier or stay a low tier pick.

since so many people were asking where I would put all of these champions. I'd put them on the not viable list! Heh XD.

Definitely disagree about Anivia, Nidalee, Twisted Fate and Corki. Probably more. Those I mentitioned are way better than what you rated. Gankplank is only labeled "unfit" because Elementz desperately wants more damage buffs (I think survialability buffs would be better). I think he's currently in Tier 2 or 3.

But then again ofc Gankplank is bad when you play him as a tank...with no spammable slow/cc.

Edit: To answer someone's question...Morgana is probably so lowly ranked because cleanse and mercury treads destroy all her abilities. Cleanse her stun. Cleanse her ult. Then she's a non factor until her cd's are back up.

I also have seen a decent amount of good veigars, a few really awesome ones. I know the higher ups all consider him terrible, but if he can farm ap early and gets some cd reduction for his stun then he can practically spam the stun. As a initiator, he can flash-> group stun alot of people and then blast them away (with his team). Usually works best when people are in the process of grouping up or one guy gets caught in the back of a retreat. His main weaknesses is survivalability and a very unreliable early game.

Anivia just isn't as good as Fiddle, Ez or Annie plain and simple. She remains in tier 3 which is still completely viable.

Nidalee is a pub stomping champ for the most part. Ask at HotshotGG the best Nida player in the gamer currently and he will pretty much tell you the same thing.

TF is maybe better then where I've put him but again tier 3 isn't even bad. It's still a good rating. Have to wait and see. Same with Corki. Currently not a lot of top players are playing them both so it's hard to judge.

As for Gangplank. /Facepalm. Look at Tymed's and L0CUST's tier list. Where is GP on their lists? Exactly the same place. Bottom of the barrel no point picking him tier. But clearly I am biased right and it's not a general concensous that you're going agaisnt right? Honestly, get off the whole GP Elementz rage thing whenever I post something about GP and face the facts that you're completely wrong about him and he isn't viable for top players currently.
