Hello sir or madam, to whom it may concern:

I was just curious because im an occasional "sifter" on the threads and one repeating hot topic is of course "Riot, hero X needs a new skin".

Now for the main purpose of this thread, I will not give my opinions as to whom should start getting skins, and quite honestly I don't feel its my place.

My main question is though, is it possible to have some sort of feedback for which heroes you guys are investing in? Maybe the social hierarchy you guys follow for developing skins? What you guys base your final pick on for a new project?

Ultimately, I just want any insight you can give for future projects and what can we expect from you as far as new hero skin goes and their possible timelines. I know all my information asked can not probably be answered, but any sort of response will be greatly appreciated

^_^

Graphic design isn't responsible for making skins. A while back, I helped out with some skins, but anyone from riot can do that (not GD specifically).

Try asking the artists - a good number of them are responsible for paring down and editing skin ideas.

EDIT - to clarify, our process is somewhat fluid. We pitch a lot of ideas, scrap a lot, and even prototype a lot. Stuff like holidays and events are easier to plan for, whereas the generic good skin ideas are harder to solidify.

We can't really tell you guys what's coming up in the pipe because they could get axed right up to the point of patching the splash screen into the client. We don't want to disappoint people if for some reason we decided to stop a skin that they liked.

They make the skins for champs that are played the most

The more people who play X champ, the more likely they will have buyers for X champ, which = more $$

The champs gotta be popular first, before a skin gets made
