Dearest League summoners,

The past two weeks I had the privilege of casting the IPL3 and IEM NY Tournaments, which were both a lot of fun. I also got to cast a lot of games. That was also awesome. There have been a few events in the past as well, so feel free to pull from those experiences as well. I want to do a better job casting in the future, so I'd like to ask all of you some questions:

  • Overall, how was my casting?
  • Has the quality changed over time? (Compared to say, Season One Championships, IEM Exhibition tournament at CeBit in March, etc.)
  • Is there anything in particular I do well?
  • Is there anything in particular I do poorly?
  • Am I easy to understand?
  • How do I perform in pre-game and picks/bans phase? (Is it entertaining, informative, boring, ranty?)
  • How do I perform in the game itself?
  • How do I perform in post-game wrap-up?
  • How do I perform in player interviews?
  • How do I perform alongside other casters? (e.g. Rivington, Zenon, Joe Miller, etc.)
  • How do you feel about my interactions with specific champions (e.g. Teemo) and teams or players (e.g. calling certain teams favorites)?

I am usually the one driving the spectator camera, so I have some questions there as well:
  • What information do you wish was shown in this in-game display that isn't right now?
  • With the information that is shown, what would you like to see more of? (For example, displaying the Q stack on Nasus, the ability order of champions in the bottom right corner, who has farmed the most gold in the game so far)
  • How do you like the camera movements, and which styles do you prefer? For example, I can lock camera on a single champion to follow it, use Mouse3 to make smooth movements, use the minimap a lot, etc.

If you have any other comments, please leave them here!

Thanks so much!

Camera too jerky sometimes.

I'd say you have improved quite a bit since season 1.

You miss a lot of action though. >< Watch the minimap more?

Locking on a single champion is good for small battles, but not for large team fights which I have seen you do.

Stop zooming in on Teemo.

You don't make fun of Zenon enough for not being American.

Needs more tons of damage.

Look happier, sometimes you look sad =[

Personally, I love your casting. You always sound super into what's going on, and you know what you're talking about. I know other people say you talk to much, but I'm fine with that.

Overall, how was my casting? - Great! I love having you be a caster, because you explain what's going on and why something was done.
Has the quality changed over time? (Compared to say, Season One Championships, IEM Exhibition tournament at CeBit in March, etc.) - Yes, you've gotten better and more confident with what you're talking about. Not to mention that you have a more personal relationship with who you are casting about.
Is there anything in particular I do well? - Explaining what is happening, and why it's happening.
Is there anything in particular I do poorly? - Letting the other person speak.
Am I easy to understand? - Very.
How do I perform in pre-game and picks/bans phase? (Is it entertaining, informative, boring, ranty?) - Good, you explain why each was banned, and get super excited if an odd champion is picked =]
How do I perform in the game itself? - Fantastic, imo. As I stated earlier, you explain what's going on and why it's happening, rather than stating the obvious.
How do I perform in post-game wrap-up? - Not sure, never really watch this segment.
How do I perform in player interviews? - I prefer you questioning the players, rather than some of the other people. You talk about things that were important and know what to ask, rather than asking arbitrary questions.
How do I perform alongside other casters? (e.g. Rivington, Zenon, Joe Miller, etc.) - You tend to talk more than the other casters, you kind of take over the mic at times.
How do you feel about my interactions with specific champions (e.g. Teemo) and teams or players (e.g. calling certain teams favorites)? - Entertaining.

I am usually the one driving the spectator camera, so I have some questions there as well:
What information do you wish was shown in this in-game display that isn't right now? - I'd like the vision of the teams to be shown more often than it is.
With the information that is shown, what would you like to see more of? (For example, displaying the Q stack on Nasus, the ability order of champions in the bottom right corner, who has farmed the most gold in the game so far) I'd like a more constant view of CS/Gold/kdr.
How do you like the camera movements, and which styles do you prefer? For example, I can lock camera on a single champion to follow it, use Mouse3 to make smooth movements, use the minimap a lot, etc. - Right now it seems fine. Maybe scroll through all the players more often, so you don't miss some important ganks.

Your casting makes the games interesting. You start talking about something and the next thing you know Phreak is spitting out words like they are nothing and his tone gets louder. It's very exciting! Apart from missing a few things or stumbling over words you are doing just fine. I also find it boring to watch any other casters besides yourself.

EDIT: I would also like to add that I am sorry that so many immature people posted on your thread before the people with constructive feedback did.

we came in to watch the stream
and we stayed for phreak (forced but ok)

-i liked how chaox and elementz would give us in depth knowledge about champions and plans when they were casting, it'll be great if u did as well
-needed more hats
-i liked how u trolled during the lee sin spotlight and u should do that more often
-need more catch phrases
-hinting about incoming content will make us very interested
