Chat won't connect D;

We are aware of this issue and are investigating.

Having this too after I was put into champ select without seeing myself on a team (I guess I was watching enemy team somehow?), friends told me they could see me but I had the lightning bolt symbol showing I wasn't connected.

I left, got the chat issues, tried to start a custom game but it just sits there, refusing to start after picking a champ.

Yeah, i was gonna go buy some RP to buy nocturne, but the shop won't even open

FYI, I ran into another mis-feature during the recent chat problems. I logged in when the problem was on-going and my chat never reconnected. I also posted here about it, but I'm just including the contents of that post after the link:

"It's nice that the server issue is fixed, however it did not cause my chat to reconnect. I logged in while the problem was ongoing, so because the chat connection attempt doesn't ever time out I will have to quit and log in again to get my chat working. I guess I don't have any choice in the matter, but there is no good reason (from a user's perspective) for this behavior, please fix it."
