is Nidalee's trap suppose to give vision?

I've been using Nidalee the past couple of days and been getting good.
When I lay down a trap, it doesn't give me vision. All I see is a green dot.
Am I suppose to be getting vision, or was this aspect nerfed?

I suspect I'm suppose to be getting vision like Teemo's mushrooms, right?

As long as I've been playing, which has been quite a while, Nidalee's traps haven't given a vision bubble. The only time you'll see someone with her trap is when it's stepped on.

It gives vision of any enemy champion or minion that steps on it, not a vision bubble around it when it's active.

iirc, it will briefly reveal the immediate area around it when placed.

This is true- you can use it to check a bush, but the vision only lasts a fraction of a second.

It's also currently glitched in that it won't reveal Twitch or Evelynn.
If I'm not mistaken, this glitch started when they bugfixed shaco's traps and made them completely counter Nidalee's traps.

Riot hasn't responded to the bug reports concerning this glitch though.

Teemo's traps can be targeted there for can grant vision, same w/ shaco's boxes however Nids traps and Cait's traps can't be targeted and don't give vision.

This was probably in the long run Nyd's traps ain't nearly as core to her character as JitB's are for shaco.

And I can only assume that the thing where it doesn't effect twitch and eve anymore is either because they had a BV or it's just a residual bug from when they stopped letting Nyd hard counter wards.

Nidalee's traps SHOULDN'T even give vision, considering the fact it totally destroys Teemo's ult then. Same with Caitlyn, and Caitlyn's traps only hit champs, which is even better :>
