**Rioter that was servicing my support ticket did some digging, and mouse button 5 is no longer natively support. I am assuming this is a bug (s/he didn't specify. S/he did say that there is no current time-line to fix the problem**
I own a Logitech G9X (Multi button mouse). I set up the mouse correctly using SetPoint (the software provided by Logitech).
My Mouse Button 5 is no longer able to be bound. It worked just fine before the last patch.
I have tried listing each button as Generic Button and as a Listed Button [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]. In game, Button 1 through 4 work correctly and can be bound in the key-binding menu. However, Button 5 is not binding. I have tested the functionality of button 5 by assigning it a different button number and can conclude that it is fully functional.
I have also tried using the League of Legends repair tool.
A support document in the Support Knowledge Base specifically states:
| "At this time mouse buttons beyond 'Mouse 5' are not detected by our game and cannot be bound through the in-game options or by adjusting the input.ini file." |
I read this to mean that Mouse Button 5 should be supported however a 6th would not work.
Why am I not able to bind this button? Is this a bug and if so, does the Riot team know about it? Any insight that you can offer would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Lone
TL;DR -- I used to be able to bind my Mouse Button 5, after this patch I cannot. Is this a known bug? Please can it be fixed? I have tried adjusting my mouse settings as well as using the League of Legends repair tool.

Some mouse programs allow you to bind mouse buttons to different keys. You may check that out. Also it may actually be a different button binding then you expect.
Anyway what also may be helpful is modifying the input.ini file directly. Here is a guide: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wik...s_and_Commands Here is more keys than they have listed: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/....php?t=1341075 |
Could you comment on whether or not this is a bug?
