Agreed. I really like where they're taking Rarity and I feel like she's the one character they've really done an awesome job of fleshing out and making her into a "real character" with positive traits AND flaws. They're starting to do that with Twilight Sparkle, esp. in the second season by making her more flawed and open about her personality... quirks I hope they continue doing that with all the characters since I think it really helps make the show a lot more "adult". I also hope they work on my girl Pinkamina soon. Right now, she's sort of the nutjob of the group. They make her right all the time, but because her methods are a little unorthodox, it still feels like they're laughing at her, even when she's saved the day (this is esp. bad in the parasprites episode).

Poor Pinkie. I think It's going to be hard to write her as anything other than the nut job at this point. They made her so crazy that she can't seem to even remember her own childhood and thinks she was a rock farmer (which you would have to be pretty off the deep end to think rock farming is a thing) The only thing they could do is have her not be crazy anymore, because any other improvement or character depth they add could always just be crazied away at any moment. Also her friends can never take her seriously because her unorthodox methods might be her saving the day in her own way or maybe shes just being crazy and they need to work without her.

Yeah, Pinkie's Cassandra at this point (go go ancient Greco-Roman mythology knowledge!) which, if she remains that way, will keep her totally flat. Oh well, I'll still love her anyway... I know how she feels. I mean, OATMEAL? Are you CRAZY?
