Will I be perma banned?

Alright, to make a long story short, I am going to be village hopping in Alaska with a few Co workers. We share a satellite modem that we use for internet to contact family/work and for our own amusement. The problem with this is that it can be unreliable and cut out due to weather or I may have to fly out on a moments notice... (Time frame to fly out of villages is very fast... Could wait a week before we can fly out. And our window is only 1-2 hours)

Thus I may or may not leave a game suddenly, Resulting in punishment and bans that last a week or w/e. I am not here to complain about the fact that they ban me as its the rule, But could i expect a Perma ban?

With that reasonable explanation, you could file a ticket and Riot would probably let you back.

That said, play pre-made 5's till you have secure internet so you don't screw over randoms.

Yeah, you will. It sucks that people can get reported for leaving, but there's really no way of knowing whether the leaver legitimately has to leave or is just ragequitting. The game is 4v5 after that, so most people will assume you ragequit. The best solution here is to take a break from LoL for a bit, probably.

Hello Knoties,

The system that regulates leaves will not place a perma-ban on an account. However, the duration of an account suspension will dramatically increase the more frequently a player leaves.

So while you may start off with a 1 day suspension, before you know it, you could end up with a 7 day suspension.

If you were to ask me, I would recommend not attempting to play any LoL games on an unstable satellite connection. However, also keep in mind that the Leaver system only applies to queued matches, ranked games, and Co-Op games.

You can start Custom Matches and leave whenever you desire without incurring a leaver penalty.

Okay thanks! While I try to make sure I do have time for a game things do happen. This usually only happens once every few weeks
