I have not seen one Ahri with DFG, even though it gives her some awesome stats (cdr!) plus some much needed burst. I've seen quite a few Morello's users though which confuses me. I'm starting to get it as my third core item, in between Rylai's and Deathcap. What do you guys think? DFG is no doubt a good item on her, but is it a better option than Morello's, and is it important enough to be a part of her core build?

It probably depends on the skill of the players.

If you have experienced players who are good at activating items, a 30% lead-in is going to be great.

If you have players who are not comfortable using # keys as well as qwer, well, morellos is more useful for them

I generally build morello's, not because I forget about DFG. the kages should help in lane and you're right it is overall better with the exception of less AP and CDR.

So far I have bene doing reasonably well with a build focusing on RoA, Sorc Boots, Deathcap, Rylai's, and Void Staff. I may try an early DFG though, can't help but see good things in it.

I think RoA is the best first item though, or at least the catalyst, for survivability. I don't think a glass cannon Ahri will do very well.

I rush DFG on the champs I get it on. Completely ensures you get a kill each time it and your ult is up on pretty much any ap. Without it you have to play the poke game to get them low, but with it you skip that step and kill them in one stun.

Anyone who gets Morellos over DFG is probably a newer player that you shouldn't be looking to for advice.

is situational, if your team is a cc heavy or a kite team normally i wouldnt go dfg, But when there is a vayne, kog, talon, etc and my team is all in, no kite, or almost no heavy cc dfg is needed.

I just don't like Morello's as an item, the bonuses it provides I usually get from other sources (like deathfire) which just seem to give me more bang for my buck.

Also, I don't buy DFG on Ahri because I play her as a sustained mage (RoA/Rabadons+ WotA)
