DO NOT become complacent or believe we have won. We haven't.
That's why we mention "similar legislation" at the bottom. There's no sense losing sleep over it at this point. If this comes up again - given the outrage these bills generated, I can guarantee you that either an advocacy group like the EFF or one of thousands of interested individuals who know how to use Thomas would catch it. Even if supporters buried it in a giant budget bill (seems unlikely with this issue).

If they try the same thing with different packaging, the same opponents will come together against it. But until that happens, we can all breathe a sigh of relief and go back to gaming and making bad arrow to the knee jokes. :P

We need to stop acta!!

lomar, do you know about acta? im sure you do, i think we should demand transparency from the government for this because acta was secretly passed by the obama administration .

We must remain vigilant as in future months and years something like this can resurface. This is a great victory but the villains will return with another document in the future.

is a relief the fact that the law lost power...if approved, it would destroy our freedom of speech and the ability to think by ourselfs...

if that bill passed, you tube, game sites, league of legends and things like amazon would of been banned
