Posting logs helps Riot determine how to resolve your problem much faster!
Instructions for attaching a dxdiag file to a post. This is often a good idea when submitting an error on this forum:
-Go to the Start Menu, click Run, and type in dxdiag (in Vista type dxdiag into the search box at the bottom of the start menu)
-Once in the diagnostic tool hit "Save All Information", select a folder to save it in, and save this file as a simple text document.
-Then go to your forum post and attach the file using the manage attachments option.
Location of other helpful logs for Riot:
Riot Games\League of Legends\patcher_lib.log
Riot Games\League of Legends\patcher_update.log
Riot Games\League of Legends\air\logs\LolClient.(date).log
Riot Games\League of Legends\game\(date)_r3dlog.txt
Riot Games\League of Legends\game\(date)_netlog.txt
Riot Games\League of Legends\game\maestro-game_client.log (file is replaced after every session)
If you aren't sure which logs we need, send more rather than less. We can comb through the logs quickly for errors. If you're not sure which game log or net log corresponds to the crash or error you experienced, send the entire day.
Now I can bet you are saying WTF? I cant attach .log files to post. No sweat you have 2 options.
1. send the logs to a zip file and attach the zip
2. rename the file of .log to .txt, this is completely safe to do as all they are is text files.
