Thanks, Brent.
I'll try to get the tech guys over here a 4th time and explain the problem a different way.
Do you have a suggestion for a new ISP? Keep in mind I've already tried to get Verizon FIOS, Comcast, and a higher connection upgrade with my current ISP. All are unavailable and will only be available "in the future". That's what I've been told and I have no idea how long I'd have to wait.
Comcast, Verizon FIOS, more than turbo Time Warner are all available only in Houston or around there. That's what they told me when I was talking to them about their services. I've been told to keep away from AT&T, so I don't know any other ISP's I can go to. Any info would be nice!
Random question..
Would my ISP still come if I explain that my connection ONLY has problems when I play a computer game? I mean, the connection itself is fine on its own, I only experience lag or random disconnections when I play legends. Would they take it seriously still if I told them I was having problems because of a game?
That's mostly why their last visits were kind of a waste, because they couldn't really find anything wrong with my connection. The tech guy came over and asked if I've been disconnecting or if my internet has been acting up. I told him I have been disconnecting and my internet shuts off randomly. My luck though, my connection seemed to be perfectly fine when he was there. At the time I thought it was just my connection, but now after all this time, I've come to find out my connection ONLY messes up when I play Legends.
Basically all I've told them is that my connection drops and I disconnect and it hasn't been stable. This, again, is before I knew what was the cause of my disconnections/lag. What other ways should I tell them to help them understand more?
Edit: I don't want it to seem like I'm blaming you guys for this, Riot. I'm not trying to. I could simply just be ignorant and oblivious to other obvious causes. I <3 you guys and will continue supporting you. Just gets frustrating
