It does, Vayne and Irelia have shown me that.

True damage goes through Alistar's ult, yes. (300 true damage will still deal 300 damage).

This is incorrect.

Things like this are technically coded on the ability level, but not in the way you say:

Smite says, "Deals X True damage to target." That's how it's coded and that's how it functions.

Something like Hemoplague says, "Take any physical or magical damage that is coming into this target. Multiply it by 1.12"

Some abilities may be out of date in that they say, "Take ANY damage and multiply it" and so those may still amplify true damage, but the design intent is that the number in the tooltip is always the value dealt.

I'm still confused. Vlad's tooltip says "increases the damage they take from all sources by 12% for 5 seconds." All sources means ignite too, does it not?

Wasn't Ignite+Torment intended to be a spell combination?

I don't really know.

In general, the rule is that True damage deals the damage on the tooltip. It's an exception to all rules.

It's possible we should update our tooltips to say "reduces/increases physical and magical damage"

Has there been any discussion on adding up the damage per level on Smite for newer players? Or Clairvoyance's radius when you hold it over the map/minimap?
