Its been getting worse for me as well. I'd say from it happening "occasionally" its now up to "frequently".

More than frustrating, about 75% of my losses are directly connected to this "lag" issue.

I developed this problem recently too. It happens to all the computers in my house simultaneously (I queue with my roommate mostly). I submitted request #1529950 which includes a detailed description and a packet capture during an affected game. Hopefully they'll take the issue seriously. It's extremely frustrating to lose games because of lag.

For those of you still experiencing this issue please do the following: (Copied from my first post)
Get some rudimentary network tests out of the way and see if we can't resolve this quickly.

The first thing I will need from you is two network analysis reports. Here is a guide on how to take them.

The first you can just give me right now. The second needs to be taken right away when you experience a network hitch. The best way to do this is have the test in the background so you can quickly alt-tab to it and run it when you see the problem occurring. If you can get multiple of these it might be even more helpful. Think of them as "snapshots" of your network's state right when you take the test.

I think I started to have this problem monday-ish.

At first I thought it was normal lag, since I'm on university wifi, but I definitely noticed the increase in duration and frequency, and the fact I still saw everything but lost control of my character.

I'm home now but haven't played a game yet. I'll post saying if I'm having the problem at home as well tomorrow (it's kinda late).

I've tried repairing and reinstalling. Didn't work.

EDIT2: Back at home, no problems whatsoever. So it has to be something with the connection. But I highly doubt the uni's wifi got that much worse instantaneously, so I think it's something in how your servers interact with the wifi or something... I'll do the tests when I get back if I still have the problems.

I sent in a support ticket, I just get told that its me even though I checked with my ISP and they are fine.

The thing about this is, if it is me why did this only start happening a few days ago? Before then I was playing completely fine with a normal 240 ping and now I just get 300. And if other players are having this problem then it can't just be me

Yeah, me and 2 of my friends I know always get lag spikes, many times around the same time, working on the scan

Been getting consisent lag spikes (for about 3-5 seconds) every 5~120 seconds in game for the past few days. I've been running speedtest before and after each game and it reports a consisent ping of 6, with 15mb down and 1up. Have never had these problems before in the year+ or so that I've been playing, and am not having these problems with any other game. Haven't changed anything on my rig that would account for these changes either, but several of my friends (not local) are also experiencing the great lag of 2012, seems worthy of note. Also of note: some other players I know have been getting 4000 ping at a time. Again, has never happened before to them/me. Thanks for any+all help

Edit: Been using Speedtest.net every game I experience lag. I alt+tab out (because I'm usually dead because of it), run the test, same result 6 ping 15 down 1 up. Nothing about my connection has changed. Confusing that there's no official response to this considering that :S
