Thought I would check back in to this thread. Just got an e-mail back a few days ago that informed me I am not the right candidate for the position. I have experience in QA from two different previous positions at gaming companies, but that's fine...it was a long shot anyways since I live in WA...but there is one thing that bothers me.

The phone interview I had was one of the worst I've ever had, honestly. Immediately after introducing himself and allowing me to, he goes, "Ready to get started?" It almost through me off with how direct he was being...almost thought I was speaking to a recording. Like he's some kind of a robot, he begins to obviously start reading some already planned out questions from a piece of paper. Most questions having nothing at all to do with QA. I was extremely excited for this interview and to talk to somebody from Riot...but they decided to give me the most stoic interviewer possible.

I was expecting a bit more from Riot...I can't say I'm not disappointed.

Hey Hohums or any riot employee, is it possible to do any job from home? Maybe player support specialists, or something else that doesn't require you to move to California because I enjoy working at home a lot.

There was a point where they hadn't specified (just implied) that - but now most job pages say that it is in their LA office... is a semi-obvious statement more useless than just saying "Bump"?
