Hey guys, I am trying to learn playing solo top. Its hard for me to just know what counters what, so I am doing a little experimenting trying out different champions. Its pretty fun in top lane.

What do you guys think about AD nidalee vs Nasus?

Nidalee. Her poke is too strong

I'd expect Nidalee to win this lane if she pokes Nasus hard enough, and she should be able to.

I believe Nasus would if he rushed a Frozen heart. But yea most likely AD Nidalee if he doesn't.

depends on who is playing Nasus. I've seem games where both have won in ranked teams. Build, items and ganks all play a huge role. for instance I watched a nasus get pushed to his tower but he held there. looked like he was losing, but then BAM!!! took control, K'ed, and then took over the lane from there on out.

Nidalee wins. Nasus can't build defense against both her damage types quickly enough, and she's burst rather than sustained, with a movement ability on a short cooldown, totally negating wither.

Nid always wins, especially when she builds ad. Wither is useless against her all ability damage output, she can endlessly poke Nasus w/o fear of reprisal, and if he does manage to do damage to her, she just heals it with the only skill she needs to level.

TL;DR: Nasus loses the lane every time, assuming equal player skill, because Nid directly counters Nasus's Wither by dealing primarily ability damage and having a short cd gap closer.
