Version 8.5 (Tencent)/Version 0.8 (NA) [10/30]
Side Note: Before people start posting/uploading images and files, please take the time to make sure that they not already added in the pack or they're just simply copies.
(this does not apply if those copies are either higher resolution than the original image, have certain details that differs from the original i.e. Tencent version of Demonblade Tryndamere, or have logos edited out)
Also if the edited files are poor resolution, please either make it a better resolution or ask someone who has the skills or a program that can produce high resolution.
That way it will make my day a whole lot easier without having to go through the packs and everything to make sure that only the best are added every single time people post new things. Thank you for your time and consideration.
TL;DR New, missed, hi-res, logo omitted stuff please. NO exact copies.
Latest News of Development (12/01/12):
Various Champions' in game files and loading screens are not working properly. Probably due to different file naming. Will update once I find correct the ones that requires proper renaming.
ItzWarty is working on another project called Dargon. Apparently (from what I understand) it's supposed to be better than RAF. However it's currently in beta phase.
The dropbox method no longer works for the chibi icons.
No more rapidshare. XP It's bleh. Re-updated with Sugar and 2shared.
This is a remake of [Red] Ququroon's deceased loading screen thread. I decided to continue hosting the project in his stead.
If some of you are wondering why it doesn't say Chinese in the thread title like the dead thread did, it's because some people had requested for the original NA artworks there. Since the NA artworks will be posted here, it's no longer just Chinese and therefore the 'Chinese' in the title would no longer make sense.
Also another reason for this is so that just in case if the other servers decide to make their own artworks someday, they can be posted here as well.
Note that the some of the artworks in the Tecent may have logos on them, which Chinese server implemented on all of their images now. Personally I don't really care about them, but some people find them discomforting. Only way to remove them is to photoshop them (I don't have much skills in this field. Sorry :/). Many have already been done by various contributors. Please be patient until the photoshoppers can work on the rest. If you have any photoshop skills and would like to help out, please do! ^-^

The Buddy Icons has now been re-added. It's the folder called "dropbox" (credit goes to cloud Nine) - currently does not work
The "Archive" folder has some art and files of the previous versions of champs that got new revamped art. Choose whichever you like.
The "Alternate" folder has art that are being used by both NA and Tencent. The purpose of this folder is to avoid filing mishaps and give Summoners different variations to choose from, whether it be b/c of resolution, certain details, etc.
[Note: If you have a Windows 7 and did not get the "Merge Folder" option when dragging the skins folder into your client's skin folder, then you will have to go in and do it manually, due to a summoner reporting that he has a different folder name for some reason]

The "Legacy" folder has some old art and files of the champs that had gotten new revamped arts or had switched to Tencent version. Again, choose whichever you like.
Installation/Modifications
Instructions:
1. Unzip the folders by using Winrar http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm or 7-Zip http://www.7-zip.org/ depending on your preference
2. Open the readme file and follow the instructions inside them.
To install the DDS files for loading screens/in-game images, use the RAF manager/Dargon found here: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/...66#post8597866 (Be sure to upvote and thank ItzWarty for it

It is to my knowledge that there exist other methods to install dds, including the dump and pack method. But do NOT use the dump/pack method. It is currently way outdated. It is highly recommended to either use the RAF/Dargon or others. Just not dump/pack.
Lastly, I do not have a video recording software. So I can't make a tutorial vid on how to use RAF manager. Would greatly appreciate if someone could make one.
What still needs to be done: (If anyone can help with these, that would be great)
- A tutorial vid for RAF manager
- Rest of logo'd arts needs editing
- Need more mirrors. If anyone is willing to host these files on their uploading accounts, that would be great. (Mediafire will NOT do. It gave me a ToS violation strike when I tried uploading Tencent 8.5 pack)
- Verification of other servers (other than Tencent) are using/creating their own artworks.

Disclaimer: This is a third party method of tempering files. It is highly advised that you make backups before you do anything. Use at your own discretion, for no one (other than yourself) is responsible if your client breaks or it no longer patches. Trust me. It's a REAL pain to re-download/patch everything back. So do like how people on eroges do: Save often! (aka make backups)
